Puma  infamous Deviate NITRO makes its way into the fourth iteration—a welcome update considering the accolades this lineage has received, with a colourway as part of the Run Club pack.

The Deviate NITRO 4 builds on an already outstanding high-performance shoe with incremental changes that allow the formula to be perfected. It's a highly versatile shoe made to go further and faster—ideal for a daily trainer, tempo runs and preparing for race day. 

It's crafted from an engineered mesh upper that's ultra breathable with a nice amount of airflow coming though over the vamp and toe, especially helpful for those warmer conditions or longer runs. A gusseted tongue offers light padding as well as around the collar which provides added structure to the shoe without being clunky.

The NITROFOAM in the midsole is a slightly different composition from its predecessor, with PEBA foam in the top layer and a peba blend on the bottom, providing lightweight responsiveness and cushioning. Sandwiched between the two nitrogen-infused foams is a carbon composite plate, it's engineered for propulsion that's less aggressive and more flexible, providing a nice underfoot feel. 

Lastly but not least, everyone favourite PUMAGRIP outsole remains, it's  slightly thinner rubber alongside cut outs is where we see this shed of weight, resulting in a lighter, springier and more energetic shoe.
